The team from Avignon carries out research with two specific approaches to “territories”: one via landscape and its multidimensional aspect (material, spatial, cultural, legal, …) where a territory can be considered as an information source, a knowledge tool of territorial systems and their transitions, a resource for the territories development, or a vector for concerted or participative approaches. The second approach is via tourism and issues of heritage and identity building.
